The Definition of AlRayah

Patriotism

It means the commitment of the list to the national spirit in its work and activities and the representation of all spectrums of Kuwaiti society, where the concept of citizenship prevails among individuals while working to place the interest of Kuwait above all considerations.

Democracy

The list believes in the democratic principles established by the Constitution of the State of Kuwait in 1962 and seeks to establish and activate these principles among male and female students.

Independence

And it means working on the independence of the student movement in the United Kingdom and Ireland from any political orientations or external interference, and giving the students the right to decide on the various issues that concern them as students or citizens.

Non-discrimination

It means rejecting all forms of discrimination between male and female students and achieving equality between them without regard to gender, religion, sect, or political orientation.

Our Committees

Freshers Committee

  • Help and support the freshers in the UK.
  • Organise orientation events and activities.
  • Managing Alrayah’s freshers office.

Sectors and Activities Committee:

  • Choosing alrayah’s delegates for every city in the UK.
  • Organising different activities for the students in every city in the UK
  • Collaborating with the freshers committee in helping the freshers once they arrive in the UK.

Academic Committee

  • Organising academic activities and events that covers all majors.
  • Offering suggestions and advice that counts to the academic aspect of the student’s study.

Media Committee:

  • Managing Alrayah’s social media.
  • Planning Alrayah’s media program.
  • Collaborating with the other committees to cover Alrayah’s public media.

Public Relations Committee

  • Finding potential sponsors for Alrayah.
  • Finding appropriate places and locations for Alrayah’s activities.
  • Managing Alrayah’s annual conference.
  • Collaborating with the other committees to develop Alrayah’s public relations.

Cultural Committee

  • Trying to develop the cultural awareness of the students.
  • Managing every cultural activity, publication and program that is offered by alrayah.

Students Committee

  • Developing alrayah’s activities for the students.
  • Trying to fulfill the needs of the students.
  • Collaborating with the other committees to deliver the suggestions and requests raised by the students.

Developing the syndics work Committee

  • Promoting humanitarian and voluntary work.
  • Trying to develop the syndication goals among students.
  • Collaborating with the cultural committee to strengthen the cooperation between the students and unites them in every possible way.
